申請說明

伊利諾伊理工學(xué)院設(shè)計學(xué)院（Institute of Design）研究生開設(shè)有以下學(xué)位項目，分別是：

• 設(shè)計（Design）專業(yè)開設(shè)的學(xué)位類型有： M.Des和PhD
  • 設(shè)計碩士（Master of Design，縮寫：M.Des）為期2年，共需修讀54個學(xué)分（預(yù)科課程為期1-2個學(xué)期）。要求申請者已擁有學(xué)士學(xué)位，GPA3.0以上，不限專業(yè)——事實上該項目50%的學(xué)生均無任何設(shè)計專業(yè)背景——商科、工程、人文、計算機科學(xué)、建筑學(xué)等專業(yè)的學(xué)生均可申請，但是設(shè)計基礎(chǔ)薄弱的學(xué)生可能會要求參加為期9個月的預(yù)科課程（foundation course）。該項目無需工作經(jīng)驗但其申請者通常都有2-4年相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗，需遞交個人作品并參加面試（校園、電話或視頻面試），要求遞交GRE或GMAT考試成績，總分要求分別為310分和600分以上，寫作分數(shù)要求均為3.0以上。該項目每年約招收40-60名學(xué)生，錄取率在70%-75%之間*(3)(8)

• 設(shè)計方法碩士（Master of Design Methods，縮寫：MDM）項目要求申請者已擁有學(xué)士學(xué)位，至少5年（其申請者通常都有8-10年以上）工作經(jīng)驗，不要求GRE考試成績，但需遞交個人作品和面試（校園、電話或視頻面試）。該項目平均入學(xué)年齡為37歲。*(2)(5)
