澳洲八大名校（Group of Eight ,Go8）又稱“澳洲八校聯(lián)盟”，是由澳洲八所頂級綜合性高等學(xué)府組成的大學(xué)聯(lián)盟。1994年開始組成一個非正式的副校長級碰面團體，1999年正式組建八校聯(lián)盟。這八所學(xué)校全部位于澳洲的六大城市之中，其中悉尼2所、墨爾本2所、布里斯班1所、珀斯1所、阿德雷德1所、以及澳洲首都堪培拉1所。
聯(lián)盟目標
“The Go8 aims to enhance the contribution of its member universities to the nation’s social, economic, cultural and environmental well-being and prosperity and extend the contribution of its member universities to the generation and preservation of the world’s stock of knowledge.”*(1)
