今天收到西北的面試通知郵件，要錄一個一分鐘左右的視頻，要注意哪些方面呢？

這種錄制視頻面試的目的是什么呢？口語還是真實性？感覺一分鐘太短了啊!

郵件如下：

This year the MSE department has received a very large number of high quality applications. You have been selected as a finalist from over 400 international applicants. We invite you to send us a self-introductory video. The video can be taken with a smartphone and does not need to be professionally edited. Please choose a file format (e.g., *.wmv) that can be opened by common software such as Windows media player. If you prefer, you can send an audio only file instead of a video.

In the video, please introduce yourself, including your research experience and your future research interest. You are also welcome to tell us stories in your research or your career goals. Please make the video around 1 min, and keep the file size around 10 MB. (My email client cannot handle files larger than 20 MB, so definitely not larger than that). The video can be emailed to me (jeannine-hall@northwestern.edu). Please submit your video by Friday, February 17^th.

主要目的有二：1）你的口語水平，這個是肯定要看的；2）試圖通過這個自我介紹，看看你這個人，例如品性、好不好溝通等。其實，你就把它當做face-to-face面試中，給你一分鐘做的自我介紹就可以了。

“research experience ”和“future research interest”在你的CV和PS中是都有講述，你可以擇要復(fù)述。如果你能在一分鐘里邊，聯(lián)系你自己的research或者career goal講一個故事，可能會更好。

謝謝，但是這樣的話不是可以寫好內(nèi)容直接讀嗎？

內(nèi)容、情景肯定都是預(yù)設(shè)好的呀。不管哪個video都是呀。你就想你要怎么在一分鐘之內(nèi)向一個看過你材料看過你PS的人最好的介紹你自己就好了呀。

你去找工作的時候，你的簡歷不也是給HR看過的嗎，但HR還可能會讓你自我介紹呀。

明白了，那就要重點關(guān)注怎樣突出自己的優(yōu)點給對方留下比較好的第一印象，
