精算（Actuarial Science），或稱精算科學(xué)、精算學(xué)，是一門應(yīng)用科學(xué)，于財(cái)務(wù)和保險(xiǎn)行業(yè)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)和統(tǒng)計(jì)方法，主要用來(lái)評(píng)估長(zhǎng)期風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。精算涵蓋了數(shù)個(gè)相關(guān)領(lǐng)域，尤其是數(shù)學(xué)的概率論和統(tǒng)計(jì)。從事精算的專業(yè)人員稱為精算師，而一般需通過(guò)各種資格認(rèn)證考試，如：財(cái)險(xiǎn)精算協(xié)會(huì)或精算師協(xié)會(huì)舉辦的一系列考試。精算師通過(guò)分析過(guò)去以及現(xiàn)在的數(shù)據(jù)預(yù)測(cè)未來(lái)的經(jīng)濟(jì)走向，幫助人們理智打理財(cái)政。
