化學(xué)（Chemistry）是一門研究物質(zhì)的性質(zhì)、組成、結(jié)構(gòu)、變化，以及物質(zhì)變化規(guī)律的科學(xué)，化學(xué)是物理學(xué)的一個分支，其基本單位是原子。通常情況下，化學(xué)也被稱為“中心科學(xué)”，與其它自然學(xué)科，如：物理學(xué)、地質(zhì)學(xué)、生物學(xué)都有緊密的關(guān)系。
