傳播學(xué)（Communication）是研究人類一切傳播行為和傳播過程發(fā)生、發(fā)展的規(guī)律以及傳播與人和社會的關(guān)系的學(xué)問，是研究社會信息系統(tǒng)及其運行規(guī)律的科學(xué)。傳播學(xué)研究傳播過程，即傳者、媒介、受者、傳播內(nèi)容、傳播效果。傳播學(xué)研究的重點是人與人之間信息傳播過程、手段、媒介；傳遞速度與效度，目的與控制，也包括如何憑借傳播的作用而建立一定的關(guān)系。
